APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION

The insecticidal lamp with a fan is an appliance that attracts fl ying insects, e.g. fl ies or mosquitoes, with a UV lamp, pulls them
inside with a fan into a special basket from which they can no longer escape. The correct, reliable, and safe operation of the
equipment requires its proper use, therefore:
Read the entire instructions manual before the fi rst use of the appliance, and keep it for future reference.
The supplier shall not be liable for any damage resulting from failure to comply with the safety instructions and recommendations
specifi ed in this instructions manual.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Only lamps with the IPX4 or higher protection rating are intended for outdoor use. If no pro-
tection rating is placed on the lamp, it means that the lamp is intended for indoor use only. Do
not expose such appliances to weather conditions.
The appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with re-
duced physical, mental abilities and persons with no experience or knowledge of the equip-
ment, if supervised or instructed on its safe use so that they are aware of the risks associated
with it. Children should not play with the product. Children should not be allowed to perform
cleaning and maintenance of the appliance without supervision.
Recommendations for connecting the appliance to the power supply
Before connecting to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency, and power
rating of the supply system correspond to the values shown on the appliance's rating plate.
The plug must fi t into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug or socket in any manner
to make them fi t.
The appliance must be connected directly to a single power supply socket.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces, including those
of the appliance. During operation, the power cord must always be fully extended and the
position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during product
operation. The power cord should not be placed in a manner which would pose a risk of
tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a place where it is always possible to
quickly remove the product power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing
when unplugging it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply
and contact an authorised service centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not re-
place the power cord by yourself. Do not use the product with a damaged power cord or plug.
The power cord or plug cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free
of defects if these components are damaged.
Instructions for use
The device should not be used in potentially fl ammable or explosive atmospheres, or in
highly dusty and humid environments.
Do not stare into the UV lamp. Short-term visual contact with the UV lamp does not cause
damage to eyesight.
