Before first Use
Remove the packaging material from the air hose reel and check it for damage
in transit. Do not leave packaging materials in the range of children, they may
become dangerous toys.
Mounting
Attach the wall holder (4) to a suitable load-bearing wall, post or similar
location with suitable mounting hardware and use the hinge pin to connect
the reel to the wall holder. The wall holder does not have a defined top or
bottom, but it should be mounted as vertical as possible because otherwise
the hose reel will hang to one side.
Choose a location that is free of electrical wiring or other obstructions, and
make sure that the fixing surface is sturdy enough to hold the hose reel.
It is advised to fix the hose reel at least 1 m away from the floor.
Intended Use
The wall-mountable air hose reel is designed to keep the air hose organized
and stored safely and neatly. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling and is
able to be swivelled 180 degrees.
Operating
1. Connect the connection hose (5) to compressed air supply.
2. Grip the ball stopper (1) and pull the hose (2) out. Slowly unroll the hose to
the required length. The hose is guided by a guiding mechanism during
unwinding and retraction and locks in place by means of a ratchet mechanism
and remains in the selected length.
3. To lock the hose, pull the hose and stop at your desired locking position. There
are 2 – 3 locking positions per meter of the hose.
4. Use the quick coupler (3) to connect the air tool with the air hose.
5. Disconnect the air tool after work from the air hose. Briefly pull the hose after
finishing work until you do not hear the clicking sound of the ratchet. The hose
will automatically be retracted. Firmly hold the end of the hose with your hand
and let it retract slowly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Use a lightly moistened cloth for cleaning. Do not clean the air hose reel with
aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals in order to not damage the surfaces.
Keep all parts of the air hose reel clean at all times.
