Easyclick 2-level repeater in plug housing

1. General
1.1 Application
This repeater is used to increase the range between Easyclick transmitters and re-
ceivers. In -level operation, a radio signal received from a transmitter will be passed
on to the respective receiver. In 2-level operation a radio signal can be passed over
a maximum of two repeaters to a receiver!
Notes:
– The repeater is factory preset for -level operation when delivered.
– Read through the operating instructions carefully before putting the unit into service.
1.2 Guarantee conditions
These operating instructions are an integral part of both the device and our terms of
warranty. They must be furnished to the user. The technical design of the appliance
is subject to change without prior notification. PEHA products are manufactured
and quality-checked with the latest technology according to applicable national and
international regulations. Nevertheless, if a product should exhibit a defect, PEHA
warrants to make remedy as follows (regardless of any claims against the dealer to
which the end-user may be entitled as a result of the sales transaction):
In the event of a justified and properly-established claim, PEHA shall exercise its
prerogative to either repair or replace the defective device. Further claims or liability
for consequential damages are explicitly excluded. A justifiable deficiency is one in
which the device exhibits a structural, manufacturing, or material defect that makes it
unusable or substantially impairs its utility at the time it is turned over to the end-user.
The warranty does not apply to natural wear, unintended usage, incorrect connec-
tion, device tampering or the effects of external influences. The warranty period is
for 24 months from the date of purchase by the end-user from a dealer and ends not
later than 36 months after the device's date of manufacture. German law is applica-
ble for the settlement of warranty claims.
1.3 Disposal of the device
Disposal of the device must be done in compliance with the laws and standards of
the country in which the device is operated!
2. Safety
CAUTION! Danger of electrical shock!
Current-carrying components are present inside the housing. Con-
tact can lead to personal injury! All work on the mains network and
the device may only be done by an authorised electrician.
• Remove power from the device.
• Check that the device is powered off.
• Close the housing securely before applying power.
This device is only intended to be used for its stated application. Unauthorised conver-
sions or changes are forbidden! This device may not be used in conjunction with other
devices whose operation could present a hazard to persons, animals or property.

4. Commissioning
4.1 Safety notices
• Do not use outdoors (indoor use only).
• Avoid extreme temperatures, moisture and jarring.
• Use only in CE approved electrical outlets.
4.2 Commissioning
The repeater should be used in an area between the Easyclick transmitter and re-
ceiver. Radio signals received from the transmitter can then be optimally passed on
to the receiver.
• Plug the repeater into a conventional SCHUKO electrical outlet.
• The repeater is factory preset for 1-level operation when delivered.
Change the repeater to 2-level operation if this is desired (see Point 5.3).

5.1 Operation
Manual operation of this device is not possible. The receiving and sending of Ea-
syclick radio signals is done automatically.
5.2 1-level operation
In -level operation, a radio signal received from a transmitter (LED blinks red) will
be passed on to the respective receiver.

Activating 1-level operation:
Press button LEV longer than 2s a LED lights up for about 3s
5.3 2-level operation
In 2-level operation (LED 2 blinks red) a transmitter's radio signal will be received
and passed on over a maximum of two repeaters to the respective receiver.

Activating 2-level operation:
Press button 2 LEV longer than 2s a LED 2 lights up for about 3s
6. Troubleshooting & remedies
6.1 New system or existing system
• Check the power supply (electrician only).
• Check the system's surroundings for changes that could cause interference
(e.g. metal cabinets, furniture or walls which have been moved).
• If the transmitter/receiver operates at a reduced distance from the repeater, the
radio signal was encountering interference or it was operating outside the trans-
mission range.
• Use the repeater at a better location.
6.2 Radio signal range limitations
• Use of the repeater in the vicinity of metal objects or materials with metal compo-
nents. Maintain a distance of at least 0 cm.
• Moist materials.
• Devices which emit high-frequency signals (e.g. audio and video systems, com-
puters, electronic ballasts in light fixtures). Maintain a distance of at least 0.5 m.
