PRODUCT OPERATION
Preparing the appliance for operation
Caution! All actions described in this section must be carried out with the product unplugged. Make sure that the power cord has
been unplugged from the socket.
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed. It is recommended to keep the packaging, as
it can be helpful in further transporting and storing of the product.
Check the product for damage. In the event of any damage being found, do not use the product, before the damage has been
remedied or the damaged components changed for new components, free of defects.
Attach the nozzle used for a particular type of operation to the steam outlet. Mount the nozzle using the bayonet connector, ap-
plying it to the outlet so that the outlet pins hit the notches in the nozzle mounting socket (II). Then, turn the nozzle in the direction
where the arrow is pointing to lock it (III). Check if the nozzle is correctly installed and cannot be taken off by pulling it towards
the steam outlet.
Disassembly of the nozzle should be done in the reverse order to the assembly.
The nozzle can be attached directly to the steam outlet of the device or by means of an extension, rigid or fl exible.
The extensions can be attached in the same way as the nozzles or by means of a snap-on connector (IV).
The angular nozzle and the brush nozzle are mounted by sliding them onto the steam outlet of the device (V) until resistance is felt.
A cloth pad can be put over the fl at nozzle by placing it so that it completely covers the bottom of the nozzle (VI). Alternatively, you
can attach the puller pad. The pad hooks should fi t into the holes at the back of the nozzle so that they form a hinge, and then the
front of the pad should be fi xed with the latch (VII).
Water fi lling and emptying
Caution! Make sure that the product is disconnected from the power supply before fi lling it with water or emptying. The plug of the
power cord is pulled out of the socket. The product and the water stored in it must also be cooled.
Unscrew the water tank cap, fi ll the tank with water up to its nominal capacity specifi ed in the technical data table. It is recom-
mended not to pour more than 0.28 l of water into the tank. This will allow you to achieve the best performance of the device.
A measuring cup and funnel are included with the product and it is recommended to use both, as this will minimise the risk of
splashing water when fi lling the tank. Splashed water should be thoroughly cleaned before connecting the device to the mains
power supply.
After fi lling the tank, screw the tank cap on. It is forbidden to use the device with an open tank.
After use, disconnect the product from the power supply by unplugging the power cord from the socket.
Wait until the product and the water remaining in the tank have cooled down completely. Unscrew the tank cap, turn the device
upside down and empty the tank completely. Screw the tank cap on (IV).
Caution! The cap has a safety device which prevents it from unscrewing if the pressure of the steam inside the tank is too high.
Unscrewing the cap too fast can result in the release of hot steam or even water which can lead to severe burns.
Switching the device on and off
After installing the nozzle and fi lling the tank with water, place the device on a level, fi rm and stable surface, and then put the
product's plug into the mains socket. The lamp on the base of the product will light up. This means that the process of heating up
water stored in the tank has begun. After the lamp goes out, the product is ready for use.
The switch has a lock to prevent accidental switching on. The lock should be moved with the thumb towards the steam outlet.
Then press and hold the switch. Steam will begin to escape from the outlet. The deeper the switch is pressed, the more intense
the steam jet.
Warning! Make sure that body parts are not near the steam outlet. Hot steam can cause severe burns.
The device is equipped with a thermostat which automatically starts heating water if the water temperature drops below the level
necessary to achieve the rated capacity. Each time the water heating begins, the lamp lights up.
Releasing the pressure on the switch stops the steam fl ow. Then place the device on a level, fi rm and stable surface and unplug
the power cord from the socket. Allow the unit to cool completely and then empty the water tank.
Water quality
The tank can only be fi lled with clean, cold water. If the running water is hard, in case of lack of knowledge contact your local water
supplier, use tap water and demineralised water mixture or only demineralised water. Heating hard water causes scale build-up,
which can lead to a decrease in capacity or even a complete clogging of the device.
Due to the use of brass parts, no descaling agents can be used in the tank and nozzles.
