Risks and precautions of Li-ion battery
- DO NOT short circuit (risk of fire and explosion)
- DO NOT overcharge or over-discharge (risk of fire and explosion)
- DO NOT expose to high temperatures
- Batteries are fragile mechanically and electrically
- Only use the charging cord that came with the device
- Avoid charging your device near flammable materials and liquid
- If you notice an overheating, shutoff the charging process
- Avoid charging Li-Ion batteries in series
- Store batteries in a secure, dry and cool place
- DO NOT put batteries on a current lead surface
- DO NOT pierce batteries
- Keep a close watch on batteries during the charge
- A battery could catch fire 10 minutes after a shock or short circuit, keep a close watch on
it.
- In case of contact with electrolyte on the skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
- In case of contact with eyes, flush eyes with plenty of cold water and consult an
emergency physician.
- Batteries have to be completely discharged before sending them to the recycling
