Setting restrictions
Size setup has some restrictions. Some settings
are changed automatically.
If "FRONT" is set to "SMALL"
"CENTER," "SURROUND," and
"SURROUND BACK" must be set to either
"SMALL" or "NONE."
If "SURROUND" is set to either "LARGE" or
"SMALL"
"SURROUND BACK" must be set to the same
setting or "NONE."
If "SUBWOOFER" is set to "NONE"
"FRONT" must be set to "LARGE."

Specify the size, position, and height
to implement the Digital Cinema
Surround modes in the sound field
(page 49) properly. For details, see
"Specifying the surround position
and height" as below.
NONE: Select this if no surround
speaker is used.
LARGE: Normally select this.
SMALL: Select this if small
speakers are used for the surround
back speaker.
NONE: Select this if no surround
back speaker is used.
YES: Select this if a subwoofer is
used.
NONE: Select this if no subwoofer
is used.
Notes
• When you select an item, the sound cuts off for a
moment.
• Depending on the settings, subwoofer output may be
excessive.
Specifying the surround speaker
position and height
If you select anything other than "NONE" in
"SURROUND," specify the size, position, and
height of the surround speakers.
BEHIND (LOW):
Select this if the surround
speakers are located in section
B and D.
BEHIND (HIGH):
Select this if the surround
speakers are located in section
B and C.
SIDE (LOW):
Select this if the surround
speakers are located in section
A and D.
SIDE (HIGH):
Select this if the surround
speakers are located in section
A and C.
These parameters are not available when
"SURROUND" is set to "NONE."
