1. Channel UP/DOWN switch: it allows the manual channel selection.
2. Dual function switch.
AM/FM: to select AM or FM modulation.
EN/EC: when
switch to activate the EN band (English band) or EC (new European
band).
3. "ON/OFF Volume" knob:
"OFF" position: transceiver turned off.
"VOLUME" position: to set the audio level
4. Squelch knob: to eliminate 'chopping' signals during message recep-
tion and to operate in DS mode (Digital Squelch).
5. Microphone jack: jack for the mic connector
6. CH 9-19 switch: to turn immediately on priority channels 9 or 19.
7. Channel display: shows the number of the channel in use.
8. TX led: lights up when the radio is transmitting
