Connecting the power cord
Once all connections have been made, connect the power cord to an AC power outlet.
• Although the power cord to the unit is removable, do not attempt to use a power cord other
than the supplied cord.
• Connect the power plug to a power outlet and the power switch is set to ON to power up the unit. Upon power up,
there will be an eight second mute period. While muted, the power indicator will light red. The power indicator will
turn yellow once the unit is ready to be operated.
• When not using the unit for a long period of time (due to travel or other reasons), be sure to unplug the power cord
from the power outlet.
• Always turn the power switch off before unplugging the power cord to the unit.

CAUTION
As the unit has high power consumption, be sure to connect the plug to a power outlet providing sufficient electrical
capacity. (Connecting to a power outlet with low electrical capacity could result in abnormal heating of the plug
connection.)
Handle the power cord by the plug part. Do not pull out the plug by tugging the cord, and never touch the power cord
when your hands are wet, as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock. Do not place the unit, a piece of furniture,
or other object on the power cord or pinch the cord in any other way. Never make a knot in the cord or tie it with other
cables. The power cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be stepped on. A damaged power cord can cause
a fire or give you an electric shock. Check the power cord once in a while. If you find it damaged, ask your dealer for a
replacement.
