7.2.2 Changing the direction of air flow
The direction of air flow of the device can be changed by re-
versing the fan.
The change in the air circuit must be taken into account when
planning the plant. The specifications for the air intake and air
extract opening in this manual remain unchanged.
NOTE
Changing the direction of air flow in the device could cause a
deviation of up to 5 % in the heat output or the COP.
CAUTION!
Before opening the device, ensure that all circuits are isolated
from the power supply.
CAUTION!
Work on the heat pump may only be carried out by authorised
and qualified after-sales service technicians.
To do this:
1) Remove the front and left panels from the bottom to the
top.
2) Open the fan terminal box and disconnect the supply ca-
ble.
3) Pull the supply cable through the terminal box, nozzle
panel and condensate drain.
4) Loosen the nut and washers on the four corners of the fan.
5) Pull the fan one nozzle length into the device and pull it out
through the front of the device. Protect evaporators from
damage.
6) Remove the sealing plugs from the rear condensate tray
cable gland and insert them into the front screw joints.

7) Insert the fan back into the device from the left and onto
the screws at the back. Check the position of the cable en-
try. Protect evaporators from damage.
8) Tighten the washers and nuts on the fan at the four cor-
ners.
9) Feed the cable through the condensate tray, nozzle panel,
terminal box and screw connection. The cable may not
contact the hot gas line in the device.
10) Cut out a square in the device insulation on the right air
vent opening along the existing perforation so it matches
the left side
11) Ensure that there are no leaks in the terminal box and all
cable glands.
12) Screw on the front panels.
