STARTING AND STOPPING PROCEDURE

• Do not start engine before chain brake is activated.
• Do not increase engine speed with the chain brake engaged.
This may cause excessive heat to covers or damage to the clutch.

BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE

1. Fill the fuel tank as instructed in the Before Operation section of this manual.
2. Rest the chain saw on the ground.
3. Make sure the area is clear of any broken glass, nails, wire, rocks or other debris.
4. Keep all bystanders, children and animals away from the working area.
COLD STARTING PROCEDURE
1. Lock the chain by pushing the hand guard forward.
Always engage the chain brake before starting the
chain saw.
2. Turn on the ignition switch, which is located on the front
part of the rear handle, to the start position ("
