5 Transportation
Secure compressed oxygen cylinders against falling over and slipping,
and against heat, chemicals and fire.
For transportation, leave a residual pressure of 29 psi (2 bar) in the
compressed oxygen cylinder.
Make sure that the lock nut closes the
valve connection.
6 Storage
The valve must remain closed during storage. The valve must not
remain open when the compressed oxygen cylinder is fully
depressurised. Dräger recommends leaving a minimum pressure of
29 psi (2 bar) in the compressed oxygen cylinder. Dirt, dust and
moisture can get into empty compressed oxygen cylinders with an
open valve. In this case, send the compressed oxygen cylinder to
Dräger to be checked.
Only store compressed oxygen cylinders in designated, well ventilated
storage areas. Full and empty compressed oxygen cylinders must be
stored separately.
Check stored compressed oxygen cylinders regularly (at least once a
month) for signs of leakage or other problems.

7 Disposal
The service life of compressed oxygen cylinders made of carbon fibre
reinforced plastic can be limited. Compressed oxygen cylinders made
of carbon fibre reinforced plastic with a service life limit are identified
by FIN or FINAL and the date of expiry. Do not use these compressed
oxygen cylinders after the service life has expired!
Compressed oxygen cylinders made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic
without a service life limit are marked NLL.

The stipulated service life is only attained if the compressed
oxygen cylinders are used correctly and checked regularly.
You can return this product to Dräger at a charge. A decision on its
subsequent use will be made when the product is returned. Please
contact your national Dräger Sales Organisation or Dräger for more
information.
