● Reverse in air flow direction for DZR units
with reverse wiring of external conductor
L1 and L2.
● Operation with frequency converters is
only admitted if factory is consulted.
Feasibility must be checked in each case.

1. Switch off mains fuse and prevent from
being started up again. Attach warning sign.
2. Remove the terminal box cover.
3. Pierce cable grommet in terminal box [7]
with a nozzle pin. Note cable diameter.
4. Guide the power cable into the terminal
box such that the cable grommet fits
around the cable sheathing completely.
Have customer seal cable grommet if
required.
5. Wire fan to the terminal block according to
the wiring diagram ( Chapter 17). Note
tightening torques.
6. Connect external control device to the two
motor terminals TK of the terminal block.
Note tightening torques.
7. Install thermal motor protection for pole-
changeable units or DZR 25/4 D.
8. Fit optional on/off switch.
9. Connect optional accessory components
(speed controller, 5-step transformer)
Chapter 10.2 or 10.3.
10. Fit terminal box cover. Ensure that there
are no dirt particles in the terminal box and
that the seal of the terminal box cover has
close contact all the way around the
terminal box. Note tightening torques.
Check seal integrity of terminal box.
