Installation
First check that the cables and housings are
not damaged. If this is the case, do not use
the unit, but take it back to your dealer for
replacement.
1. Open the battery compartment (B) and
connect the battery with the clip. Ensure
correct polarity of the battery. Insert the
battery carefully into the compartment
and then close it. (see Figure F2).
2. Finally, insert the power cut-off (Fig. F4 /
3a) into the power socket.
3. To synchronize the frequencies of the
send and control units please perform
the following Teach-In procedure:
• Press and hold the button (S) on the
sending unit.
• Press the button (BA) on the control
unit.
• The controller confi rms the successful
Teach-In procedure with an audible
signal. Release both buttons. The
system is now fully functional.
For controls with massage device only:
Install the massage motors to the under-
side of the bed frame in the back and foot
area as shown in Figures M1 and M2. Take
care to avoid the faults shown in Figures
M3 and M4. Now connect the massage
motors to the controls (See Fig. F4).

Initialising the control
Before you can use the device, the control
must be initialised. To do this, proceed as
follows:
Press buttons D1 and D2 simultane-
ously.
Hold the buttons down until the bed has
moved to the fl at position and all the
motors have switched off.
The unit is now ready for operation.
Important note!
If the motors cannot be operated, this
indicates that the child safety device has
probably been activated. Deactivate the
child safety device (see page 23) and
then carry out the initialisation!
Operation
See Figure F1 for operation.
Bed adjustment
Use the buttons described below. The cor-
responding drive will be actuated for as long
as the button is pressed.
(U1) Neck adjustment upward
(D1) Neck adjustment downward
(U2) Back adjustment upward /
frame drives backward*
(D2) Back adjustment downward /
frame drives forward*
(U3) Leg adjustment upward
(D3) Leg adjustment downward
(U4) Foot adjustment upward
(D4) Foot adjustment downward
* Only with optional wallhugger function.
Saving settings (memory)
The settings you have made with the but-
tons U1/D1 - U4/D4 can be saved.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Press button S three times.
