Switching on the device
WARNING! Make sure the saw chain is
not yet applied to the cut and that no other
objects are touched. Risk of injury!
• Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands and
make sure that no persons (in particular chil-
dren) or animals are in the immediate vicin-
ity.
• Make sure that the chain brake is released
before starting the chainsaw. To do so, draw
the hand guard back in the direction of the
bow-type handle. (Fig. 14)
Fig. 15:
• Press and hold down the switch lock (1).
• Press the on/off switch(2). The chainsaw starts
running.

Caution! In an emergency, stop the ma-
chine by releasing the on/off switch
Displaying the charge level
By pressing the button on the battery it is possi-
ble to check the charge level with the battery
charge indicator LED. (Fig.18).
The light goes out after 5 seconds. If the LED
flash-es, the battery must be charged. If no LED
lights up when the button is pressed, the bat-
tery is defective and must be replaced.
