Quick Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance is on but is not
working (APC automatic pro-
tection circuit tripped).
During
operation
whistling noise can be heard
coming from the scaler hand-
piece.
Possible Cause
The insert is not present or
not correctly tightened on
the handpiece.
The insert is worn, damaged,
or deformed.
The connector of the hand-
piece or cord is wet.
Handpiece not connected to

Broken wire in the cord

Tuning circuit malfunction
The irrigation circuit has not

TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING: Portable RF communication
equipment (including peripheral devices such
as antenna cables and external antennas)
must not be used closer than 30 cm to any
part of the COMPACT PIEZO LED device,
including the cables specified by the
manufacturer. Otherwise, there may be
a performance degradation of these
appliances.
