10. Check that the outlet pressure
is 21 bar + water inlet pres su re
on the manometer.
Remark: On Booster 24 both
pumps must be aired out.
The system is now ready for ope-
ra ti on. Press I on the control panel.
3.2 Existing System
When a new Booster is installed on
an existing system it is only neces-
sary to air out the pump(s). See
item 3 - 10 above.
4. Daily Operation
When the system has been started
it is recommended to let it run con-
tinuously. The system will start and
stop as needed.
After a long break (holiday or the
like) it may be necessary to air out
the pipe system and the Booster
again.
5. Service
Service must only be per for med by
authorised and qualifi ed person-
nel. If you have any doubt - don't
hesitate to contact Ecolab.
Warning: Only perform service
on the Booster when it is without
voltage and pressure.
1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Close the ball valve on the inlet
side.
3. Open a tap.
4. Check that the manometer has
dropped to 0.
5.1 Components
5.1.1
Pump/motor
Pump/motor do not need mainte-
nance.
See section 2.2 however.
Remark: On 60 Hz motors the at-
tached grease instructions must be
followed in case of defect. Contact
Ecolab.
5.1.2
Control system
Does not need maintenance.
In case of defect: Contact olab.
5.1.3
Flow switch
Does not need maintenance. See
section 3 and Fig. 8 however.
In case of defect change the fl ow
switch.
Adjustment
1. Press '0' on the control panel to
stop the system.
2. Open a Satellite/Terminal in
foam position.
3. Unscrew the nylon screw 'B'
(Fig. 8).
4. Check that the fl ow switch points
the right way (see Fig. 8).
5. Turn the brass screw in the
bottom of the hole until 2 green
diodes light up.
6. Assemble the nylon screw
again.

Check valve
Does not need maintenance.
In case of defect the check valve is
replaced.
