When holding the tool in your hand, perform the following operations:
a) Carefully put a branch between the blades (4-8), then pull the operating lever (3) and cut the branch.
b) Once the branch has been cut, release the operating lever (3) to open the blades and repeat the operation

The shear does not work

IMPORTANT: If the above-mentioned remedies do not solve the problem, contact an Authorized Service Point.
5.4 Improper uses
-
Never use the tool when your balance is unstable.

Never cut materials being other than wood.
-
Never use the tool as a lever or for lifting, moving or breaking any objects.

Never use the tool if the atmosphere is explosive or inflammable.
5.5 Tool transport
Disconnect the tool from the air supply before carrying it.
In case of long transports keep the tool in its packaging.
Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product Description". Any other use can cause injuries
and damages.
6.
MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine maintenance
WARNING!
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the tool from the compressed air hose.
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed by a CAM-
PAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service Point.
The routine maintenance operations may be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1
In general
Before any maintenance operation:
•
Engage the safety catch (5).
•
Disconnect the air hose.
•
Wear heavy-duty protective gloves.
•
Do not use hydraulic oil or brake fluid. These may cause irreparable damages to the tool.
•
Periodically check the oil level in the compressor lubricator.
6.1.2
Lubrication
•
Every 20 working hours lubricate the inner part of the fitting (26) with an oiler. Keep the shear vertical.
•
Every 20 working hours lubricate the conrod (21) with an oiler. When carrying out this operation, wear heavy-duty
protective gloves and manually close the blades (4-8) till the conrod (21) protrudes.

REMEDY
• Check the air compressor fpr proper functioning
(read the corresponding documentation).
• Check the air supply (see par. 4.1).
• Check the air hose for cleanness (see par. 4.1).
• Check the blade pin for overtightness.
• Check the compressor air pressure.
• Check the valve stem seal wear and tear (see par. 6.2.4).
