1.5 Handling, transport and storage
Thank you for purchasing this high-quality measuring device. Please check all components
and parts delivered promptly after receipt of goods.

1.6 Returning devices

• Never return a device/system if you are not absolutely certain that all traces of any
hazardous substances have been removed, e.g. substances that have penetrated
crevices or diffused through plastic.
• Costs incurred for waste disposal or any injuries sustained by staff (e.g. burns)
due to the provision of insufficient information and/or improper cleaning of the de-
vice will be charged to the delivering company or the operator.
When returning a device to Aquametro AG, e.g. for repair or calibration, the following points
are mandatory:
• Always enclose a duly completed "Declaration of decontamination" form
(FO0451).
• Equipment may be returned in an uncleaned state only in special cases (e.g. to al-
low us to reconstruct the cause of an error) and only with the prior consent of Aq-
uametro AG.
In such cases, the contact person at Aquametro AG who authorised the return of
an uncleaned device must be named on the declaration of decontamination.
Only then can Aquametro AG accept, check and repair a returned device.
