English
that the unit is re-assembled correctly after
cleaning.
At intervals which will depend on how hard the
•
water is, clean away any limescale which may
have been deposited on the shower nozzles or
electric heating element, using a scale remover.
Anti-limescale products may also be used.
To clean the outside housing of the unit use a
•
cloth moistened in soapy water. Do not use
solvents or other inflammable products.
To get the best results from the washer &
•
polymeriser additives available on the market to
dissolve wax may be added to the water. The
manufacturers'
always be followed in this case.
For optimum performance, Talleres Mestraitúa,
•
S.L. recommends the use of MESTRA muffles
and flanges.
Clean the unit's control panel regularly with a
•
damp cloth. Always disconnect the machine
before doing this.
After using the washer & polymeriser, remove
•
wax, foam, remains of resin and other particles
which may be left floating on the water.
The R-080060 has a circuit breaker that
•
protects the machine against electric overloads.
Once the problem is solved, press the circuit
breaker located on the side of the machine (F)
to get it into work again.
Message "bro" means that the thermal probe
•
is broken and must be replaced.
Message "HHHH" means that the triac is
•
broken and must be replaced.
The R-080060 has a contactor that protects the
•
machine against accidental overheating as it
detects excessive temperature and cuts off
machine operation. Once the machine gets
back to a normal temperature, the security
contactor has to be reset. In order to get to it,
do as explained below:
1. Remove the side panel unscrewing the
fixation screws.
2. Disconnect the electric fan.
3. Press the contactor (G).
4. To assemble the machine do the other way
round.
Try and check the Wahser-Polymeriser functioning.
PRECAUTIONS
♦ Before connecting the unit ensure that the power
supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz and earthed. It should
also be protected by a thermal magnetic cut-out.
Consult your installer on this.
♦ Do not allow children or unskilled personnel to
handle the unit.
14
recommendations
♦ While the shower is running, keep the cover of
the unit closed.
♦ After removing the shower spray tube, check
that the connector is properly connected. Never
run the shower without the spray tube fitted.
♦ Whenever you put muffles into the tank or take
them out, use long gauntlets and a muffle tongs.
♦ If the shower stops suddenly during normal
operation, disconnect the unit from the power
supply before manipulating it in any way.
♦ Open the cover carefully: outrushing steam from
the tank could cause burns.
♦ Never place more than 12 muffles on the
should
polymerising tray, or more than 6 on the
washing tray.
♦ Always keep at least 15 cm of water in the
bottom of the tank, as the heating elements may
be damaged if the level is lower than this. Do not
allow water level to reach less than 3 cm from
the muffle washing tray.
♦ Always leave a gap of at least 15 cm between
the unit's ventilation grill and the nearest wall or
other object. Place the unit on a flat, firm,
vibration-free surface where it cannot overturn.
♦ 95 ºC is a recommendable polymerisation
temperature: at higher temperatures too much
steam may be produced.
♦ A typical shower temperature would be 85 ºC.
Higher temperatures may lead to cavitation in
the pump.
