SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to fit into polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not try to modify
the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instructions: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the
risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
BEFORE FIRST USE:
Remove all packing materials, tags and labels from the product.
Wash the ceramic cook pot and glass lid with hot soapy water with a sponge or
dish cloth, rinse and dry thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the slow cooker base in water.
NOTE: Always use caution when placing your cook pot on a glass or ceramic stove
top, laminate countertop, or other surface. The bottom surface of the cook pot may
scratch some surfaces if caution is not used. Use a hot pad under your cook pot to
prevent possible damage to the surface.
NOTE: First time use may result in minimal odor or smoke. This comes from the
manufacturing process. This is normal and harmless and will disappear once the
appliance is used for a short period of time.
