16 Important Information
Transformers
When transformers are used, the primary circuit of each
transformer must be protected against short-circuits in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Only
safety transformers in accordance with EN 61558 are to be
used.
It is not permissible to switch the load via a serial switching
contact, since overcurrents and overvoltages which may
destroy the dimmer can occur upon reconnection.
Work on the 230 V supply system may only
be carried out by authorised electricians!
Disconnect the mains power supply prior to
installation and/or disassembly!
The operation of an isolating transformer
system with a connected load of ≤ 1 0 kVA
is not permissible!
Failure to observe installation and operating
instructions may result in fire and other
hazards!
