To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, care-
fully follow these instructions.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS - This manual contains
important safety and operating instructions for battery
charger Model LCJQ-560.
Before using battery charger, read all instructions and
cautionary markings on battery charger, battery, and
product using battery.
CAUTION
To reduce risk of injury, charge only YAMABIKO
lithium-ion rechargeable battery Model listed be-
low. Other types of batteries may burst causing
personal injury and damage.

Never attempt to charge or use a defective, damaged or
deformed battery pack.
Connect the charger only to the voltage and frequency
specified on the charger - only connect the charger to
an easily accessible wall outlet.
Never use a defective or damaged charger.
Do not open the charger.
Store the charger out of the reach of children.
For indoor use only.
Operate the charger at ambient temperatures between
0ºC - 60ºC.
Do not cover the charger. Covering the charger will pre-
vent it from cooling.
Never bridge (short circuit) the charger's ter-
minals with metallic objects (e.g. jewellery,
nails, coins) because it may damage the
charger.
In the event of smoke or fire in the charger, disconnect
it from the wall outlet immediately.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or short circuit, do
not insert any objects in the charger's cooling slots.
Do not operate on an easily combustible surface (e.g.
paper, textiles) or in an easily combustible environment
- there is a risk of a fire.
Do not operate the charger in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Chargers can produce sparks which may ignite
the dust or fumes - there is a risk of explosion.
Check the charger's connecting cord regularly for dam-
age. If the connecting cord is damaged, immediately
disconnect the plug from the power supply to avoid the
risk of electric shock.
To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not use the connecting cord for any other purpose,
e.g. for carrying or hanging up the charger.
To reduce the risk of stumbling, position and mark the
connecting cord in such a way that it cannot be dam-
aged or endanger others.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always connect the
charger to a properly installed wall outlet.
After using the charger, unplug it from the wall outlet.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (in-
cluding children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
To Charge Battery:
Plug charger AC cord into 220 - 240 V AC outlet.
Align ridges on battery with grooves on charger, and
slide battery into charger.
During normal charging, the charger LED (A) will blink
continuously GREEN.
IMPORTANT
If charger detects a problem, LED blinks RED. Re-
move battery from charger, clear obstructions from
contacts and reinstall battery into charger. If battery is
outside acceptable temperature range (0°C to 60°C)
LED remains RED. Remove battery from charger and
warm or cool as needed, then reinstall battery into
charger.
