TWS earphones with active noise suppression

Intended use
The renkforce TWS earphones with active noise suppression are wireless earphones for con-
necting to Bluetooth
-capable devices such as smartphones or tablets.
®
The following modes are available:
• Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): reduces disturbing ambient noise
• Transparency mode: plays the external noise in the earphone
• Gaming mode: ensures synchronous sound through low latency
The charging station supplied is used to charge the earphone batteries.
Only use the renkforce TWS earphones with active noise suppression in accordance with these
operating instructions. For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this
product. Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the
product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a short-circuit, fire or electric
shock Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this
product available to third parties together with its operating instructions.

Description of symbols

The lightning symbol inside of a triangle is used when there is a potential risk of

information in these operating instructions. Always read this information carefully.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and tips on how to use the product.

Safety information

Read the operating instructions carefully and the safety information in par-
ticular. If you do not follow the safety information and information on proper
handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dan-
gerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations,
high humidity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed, struck or
dropped, even from a low height.
• Do not use the product when driving a vehicle, operating machinery or performing
any other potentially dangerous activity. You may not hear warning signals and, as
a result, be exposed to hazards.
• If you use the product when playing sports or as a pedestrian, adjust the volume
so that you can still hear environmental noises.
• Do not listen to music at an excessive volume for prolonged periods. This may
damage your hearing.
• Consult a specialist if you have any question about using the product, its safety
or connecting it.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a specialist or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Connected devices
• Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any devices to
which the product is connected.
c) Batteries
• The in-built batteries cannot be removed and may only be charged in the enclosed
charging station. Never attempt to remove the batteries and charge them with an
external charger.
• The charging station may only be supplied with power via the USB port. A different
charging power supply will damage the charging station and could cause the in-
built batteries to overheat or ignite (danger of explosion!).
• Never throw the charging station or earphones into fire. This may cause a fire or
explosion!
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with skin.
Always use protective gloves when handling leaking or damaged batteries.
• Liquids leaking from batteries are chemically very aggressive. Objects or surfaces
coming into contact with these liquids could be severely damaged.
• Charge the batteries regularly (approx. every three months), even if you do not
need the product. The battery technology used means that the batteries do not
need to be discharged beforehand.
Charging the batteries
Please proceed as follows to charge the battery in the charging station:
1. Connect the supplied USB type C charging cable to a suitable USB power source (PC or
power supply unit with max. 5 V/1 A).
2. The status LED next to the USB port lights up.
3. When charging is complete, the status LED goes out.
Please proceed as follows to charge the earphone batteries:
1. Ensure that the battery in the charging station is charged.
2. Insert the earphones into the charging station.
3. Close the cover of the charging station.
Connecting to a mobile device (pairing)
Proceed as follows to connect (pair) the earphones to the mobile device:
1. Remove the earphones from the charging station.
2. The earphones switch on automatically. This is indicated by the flashing LED on both ear-
phones.
