The most common cause of overheating is

dust deposit in the appliance's ventilation
grilles. Clean it regularly (see "Cleaning and
maintenance" section).
To avoid any risk of burns, never touch hot
•
surfaces on the appliance.
To move the appliance, set the switches to
•
the "OFF" position and use the handle.
Use the appliance on a horizontal surface. Never
•
use the appliance in an inclined or lying position.
Fully unwind the power cord before use.
•
The appliance should never be used with an
•
extension cord.
Never unplug the appliance from the power
•
socket by pulling on the power cord.
Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
•
The power cord must not come into contact
•
with the hot surfaces of the appliance.
Never slide the power cord under a carpet or
•
rug. Keep it away from high traffic areas.
Never twist, knot or wrap the power cord
•
around the appliance as this may damage it.
Never store the appliance while it is still warm.
•
Never leave your appliance unattended during
•
operation.
Do not use this appliance outdoors or on
•
damp surfaces. Never allow liquid to enter

To prevent electric shock, never immerse the
•
cable, plug or appliance in water or any other
liquid (bath, shower, swimming pool).
Never touch the appliance with wet hands.

Thermal safety: In the event of overheating,
•
a safety device automatically switches off the
appliance. In this case, unplug the appliance
from the power socket and plug it back in once it
has cooled down. If your appliance still does not
work, take it to your retailer's customer service
department to be inspected and repaired. The
user may not perform any repairs.
Tilting safety: The appliance is equipped with
•
a safety cut-out system, which automatically
switches off the appliance if it is tilted.
In the bathroom, the product may only be used
•
in volume 3 and can under no circumstances be
used in volumes 0, 1 or 2 (see diagram below).
