6.
Make the necessary connections on user side.
7.
Power the device by means of the power connector "6".
8.
Check that the red LED "1" is on.
9.
Check that the source video signal is present: the green LED "4" should light up.
10.
Adjust the transmission signal gain by means of selector "2" choosing one of three possible
calibration levels:
low (L)
medium (M)
high (H)
A low transmission gain level is recommended
11.
Equalise and adjust the video signal on the receiver:
a
adjust the dip switches on the receiver (see table 4) to obtain the required definition and
contrast levels;
b
turn the receiver potentiometer to reach the required brightness level.
12.
Repeat the operations in step 11 and firstly change the dip switch settings on the receiver if the
picture is not right.
Table 4 shows the approximate distances which may be reached on user side with the receivers
Ref.1092/303; 1092/304; 1092/316.

Important note:
•
Table 4 shows the approximate dip switch settings according to distance with a tolerance of
approximately ± 150m. This parameter may vary according to the quantity of wire used for system
installation.
•
The distances may vary according to the wire quality also when the latter is made by the same
manufacturer as the devices.
•
The distances shown in the table refer to the use of colour cameras. Higher distances may be
obtained using black and white cameras.
