WARNING! The safety seat must not be used on vehicle seats that are at right angles to the direction
the car is travelling in. The safety seat should not be used on rear facing seats, for example in a van or
minibus. The safety seat should always be fastened in place with the ISOFIX system, even when it is not
in use. If you need to make an emergency stop or if you are involved in a minor collision, an unsecured
safety seat can cause injury to you and to other passengers.

VEHICLE PROTECTION
WARNING! Never use the safety seat on a vehicle seat with a front airbag activated. This does not
apply to side airbags.
To guarantee the maximum safety possible for all passengers, make sure that:
* The folding backrests of the vehicle are locked into the upright position.
* When fitting the safety seat on the front passenger seat, push the vehicle seat as far back as possible.
* Any objects that could cause injuries in the event of an accident are correctly secured.
* All passengers in the vehicle are wearing their seat belt.
PROTECTING THE VEHICLE
Signs of use and/or fading may appear on vehicle seats made of delicate materials (for example, velvet,
leather, etc.) where the safety seat has been used. To avoid this, place something like a blanket or a
towel underneath the safety seat. Also, make sure you follow our cleaning instructions, as they are
essential before using the safety seat for the first time.
It is dangerous to make any alterations or additions to the device without approval from the certifying
authority. It is also dangerous to disregard any aspects of the installation instructions provided by the
manufacturer of the improved child restraint system.
The i-Size safety seat should not be used without its cover.
The cover of the i-Size safety seat should not be replaced by a different one that has not been
recommended by the manufacturer, as it forms an integral part of the performance of the child
restraint system.
Keep the instructions together with the i-Size safety seat during its useful life.

USING THE SAFETY SEAT IN THE VEHICLE
Depending on the child's age and size, the safety seat can be used in the forward facing or rear
facing position.
NOTE! Accident statistics confirm that the rear facing position is the safest position for the child
to travel in. Therefore, it is advisable to use the safety seat in the rear facing position for as long as
possible.
