9. Light Kit Assembly.

Remove 1 screw from motor plate on
underside of motor housing and partially
loosen the other 2 screws.
Align slotted holes in fitter plate with
loosened screws in motor plate, allowing
molex connectors to come through center
hole in fitter plate. Twist fitter plate to lock.
Re-insert screw that was previously removed
and securely tighten all 3 screws with a
Phillips screwdriver. [Refer to diagram 1.]
Connect WHITE wire from motor housing to
WHITE wire from the light kit and BLUE (or
BLACK) wire from motor housing to BLACK
wire from light kit. Make sure molex
connections snap together completely.
Remove screws from 3 posts located on
underside of fitter plate. Carefully arrange
wiring within the back of light kit. Align
holes in light kit with posts in fitter plate.
Re-insert screws previously removed and
securely tighten all 3 screws with a
Phillips screwdriver. [Refer to diagram 2.]
Install three 6 watt medium base LED bulbs
(included).
IMPORTANT: When replacing bulbs, allow
bulbs and glass shade to cool down before
touching.
Align grooves on glass shade with nodules
on inside edge of light kit and push up
gently on glass shade. Twist shade to the
RIGHT (clockwise) until glass shade locks into
place.
Pull down VERY GENTLY on shade to make sure
that shade is secure. [Refer to diagram 3.]
