IMPORTANT WARNINGS
FOR USING THE HOOK FOR A WALL BED AND SOFA SET
TO FOLD THE BED DOWN, YOU MUST:
1. Remove all cushions from the sofa (seat and back cushions).
2. Push the base of the sofa tightly against the cabinet.
3. Make sure the sofa's armrests are not blocking the movable surface. Move the base of the sofa as needed to ensure
the movable surface can be pulled down.
4. Insert the hook into one of the handles.
5. Use the hook to gently pull the movable surface toward you.
6. Guide the sleeping surface downwards with the hook until the bed is in a horizontal position and its legs on the ground.
TO CLOSE THE BED, YOU MUST:
1. Insert the hook into one of the handles.
2. Use the hook to lift and push the movable sleeping surface slowly into the cabinet.
3. Guide the movable surface upwards until it is in a vertical position in the cabinet.
4. Put the cushions back on the sofa after the bed is folded away. (See image below)
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR YOUR SAFETY
• Make sure children are at a safe distance from the bed when the movable sleeping surface is being folded up or down.
• DO NOT allow children to fold the bed up or down.
• DO NOT use a distorted or damaged hook to fold the bed up or down. If the hook is distorted or damaged in any way,
you must contact Bestar to replace the hook.
• DO NOT use the hook if the handles are not tightly fastened to the cabinet.
• DO NOT hang the hook on the handles of the cabinet.
• Warn individuals nearby that the bed will be used before folding the movable surface up or down.
• Using the hook, you must guide the movable surface at all times when folding the bed until it is in a vertical
or horizontal position.
Incorrect use or misuse of the hook can lead to dangerous situations for individuals within proximity of the wall bed,
such as the bed folding up or down unexpectedly.
FIRE PREVENTION
DO NOT leave your electronic devices (laptops, smartphones, etc.) unattended on the bed or sofa because these devices contain
batteries that could catch re or explode if the batteries fail.
