EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS
Starting your exercise
1. Make sure, that the extension tube (3) is properly set to your height.
2. Make sure, that the rotary tubes are set in the lowest hole.
3. Make sure, that the foam pads (13) can hold your feet securely.
4. Make sure, that the extension tube (3) is fixed securely before using the equipment and that the
nylon belt (23) is properly fastened to secure your body.
5. Make sure, that there is enough free space for the inversion trainer to rotate completely.
With both arms by your side the bed should just ‚swing until level with the floor. To get more tilt sim-
ply take one arm gradually over your head. To get back bring your arm back. You can increase the tilt
by taking two arms over your head. To get back bring, bringing the arms back is not sufficient to get
back to the starting position, do not sit up, just bend your knees and slide your bottom down towards
your feet.
Listen to your body
•
Remind yourself that your body is unique and it will tell you what is good for it.
•
If other people invert longer or at a greater angle, it has nothing to do with your body.
•
Come up slowly, dizziness after a session is a sign that you have come up too fast.
•
Wait for a while after you've eaten before you invert.
•
Come up as soon as you feel queasy, even if after only a few seconds. Give yourself time-it may
take weeks or months before your organs get used to inverting exercises.
Why try inversion?
The idea of the activity is to give gentle traction to the spinal TABLE. This traction opens up the gaps
between ‚ the' spinal vertebrae and has the effect of allowing the discs between these vertebrae to
pump up with fluid and be nourished by blood supply. This means they have a better cushioning ef-
fect, allowing spinal nerves to be free from aggravation. The activity of traction or intermittent traction
means reduced back stress and tension. It has the added benefits of reversing blood flow and allows
relief to organs that are under continual downward stress.
Is inversion suitable for everyone?
