ENGLISH
Step 1 – Opening of the cabin and rooms
Your Galleon trailer tent requires only a few minutes to be ready to use
1
Bring the Galleon to its place. Use the 4 jack steady, take off the cover and the kitchen
(not shown on these photos)
2
Open the right panel and then the left panel as you look at the unit from the back
(Road lights) (3).
When you close the Galleon, take care to always close the left panel first. As you look at the
unit from the back (Road lights ).
4
Push the central roof pole to the top so that the 2 fixing grips hold the roof (4a). These
fixing grips are on the right side of the Galleon, one in the front and one at the end of the
cabin.
Take care when closing your Galleon to always free these grips before trying to close the
panels
5
On the sides in front of the Galleon and behind it, you can stretch the canvas thanks to
poles with ratchets (5a)
Take care before closing the Galleon : you must free these poles before closing
6 Pull the canvas down on all sides of the unit, the Galleon is now ready
7 Close the door and peg the canvas. Start with the corners.
Step 2 – Setup the awning
Follow these steps to setup your awning easily. One person alone can do it, but the setup is
easier with 2 people.
8 Zip the ground sheet to the cabin and peg its corners. There must be an eyelet in the
middle of the front of the sheet.
9 Prepare the awning frame from the frame diagram. Don't forget the poles that are attached
to the cabin (9a)
10 We advise you to free the roof tension by pulling on the two fixing grips to lower the roof
height
11 Zip the awning to the top of the cabin
12 Staying outside the awning, zip the bottom of it to the groundsheet at the front and on the
two sides
13 Open the awning door to access the frame
14 Put the 3 poles to connect the canopy through the openings
15 Setup the awning canopy (3 connections and 2 covers)
16 Lengthen the 2 frame feet (keep them under the awning canvas)
17 Use a string to lift the awning. Peg down so that the awning is now standing.
18 Go inside and setup the rest of the awning frame. The photos shown here are a 3.10 meter
awning.
19 Your Galleon trailer tent is now ready. Peg the awning canvas.
Closing
Follow these steps back. If you feel any tension at all, when trying to close the panels, check
that all grips and poles are free and undone.
