After mounting, making the hydraulic and electrical connections and
filling up the container with water, the appliance can be put into use.
When heating up the first time, have proper operation supervised by a
professional. Before starting its use, fill the hot water tank with drinking
water for one day, and drain the rinsing water in the sewage network. Do
not use the rinsing water for household purposes. The proper use of the
system may not be started, but after the steps above.
7.1.
A qualified technician must perform the installation and first start up of the ap-
pliance, in line with the relevant national regulations in effect, and any other re-
quirement set out by the local governments or public health institutions.
7.2.
Open the closing valve (Item 1, Figure 10.3) and the hot water tap, but leave the
cold water tap closed. The incoming water will fill up the tank. Let the water flow
for a few minutes to flush the appliance, then close the tap.
7.3.
Power on the appliance.
7.4.
During heat-up, excess water may leak through the outlet of the combined safety
valve due to expansion. This pipe must be left open towards the air space.
7.5.
At the end of the heat-up time, when the water reaches the factory set tempera-
ture, the regulator switches off. When about 15 % of the water is discharged, the
regulator should switch back on automatically. If the heating fails to turn on, con-
tact a technician. (For IDExxxF ErP Sztea types)

8. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

If you discover leakage from the interior of the tank or any other sign of irregu-
lar operation, promptly disconnect the appliance from the electrical network, and
also from the water supply network using the closing valve. Contact a qualified
technician!
Only properly qualified professionals (and during the
warranty period, exclusively our contracted service
partners) may perform repair or maintenance on the
appliance! During repair or maintenance operations,
condition, as released from the factory. To maintain
the warranty, remember to have the repair documented
by the technician on the attached guarantee document.
