Troubleshooting Test D - Minimum Motor
Speed Error
Before starting this procedure:
■ Make sure the vehicle DC voltage to the refrigerator is correct:
■ at 12 VDC - 10.9 to 22.7 volts.
■ at 24 VDC - 22.7 to 31.5 volts.
■ Make sure no other appliance or lighting circuit is connected to
the refrigerator DC circuit.
Remove refrigerator from
enclosure, but do not
disconnect DC power cord.
Make sure the vents are not
obstructed, the condenser
coil is clean, the fan is
operating, and the ambient
temperature is less than
131° F (55°C).
Is
the input
voltage
correct?
YES
Is
refrigerator
overloaded?
NO

Correct input voltage.
Reduce cooling load on refrigerator and

wait three (3) or four (4) minutes before
continuing.
Replace refrigerator.

Possible Cause:
The refrigerator may be overloaded and
motor can not maintain minimum speed
(1850 rpm).
