c. Locate (2) slotted holes in base frame at one corner of head
end of base. Place the headboard bracket weldment underneath
base frame and against the head end of the base, positioning
the bracket weldment so the carriage bolt appears through the
innermost slotted hole in the base frame (FIGURE 14). Place hex
nut on 1/2" long carriage bolt to attach bracket weldment to base
frame. Loosely tighten to allow adjustment for headboard hole
alignment. Place second 1/2" long carriage bolt in remaining slot
and secure using hex nut. Loosely tighten to allow adjustment for
headboard hole alignment.
