3. Relay 2 (10-836)
3.1. DESCRIPTION
Relay 2 is a flush mounting relay that must be connected to terminals a and b of the Niko
Access Control bus. This relay can o.a. be used to control a door lock.
3.2. INSTALLATION
This relay is designed for flush mounting. It is provided with 5 pairs of plug-in terminals that
simplify wiring. 2 wires can be connected to each terminal. The wire can have a diameter of
max. 0,8mm. In order to insert the wire into the terminals, it must be stripped over a length
of 5 to 6mm. The relay is directly connected to the bus. In case of a 2-wire connection, only
a and b are connected. If over 10 relays of type 10-836 are connected, a 3-wire connection is
required. In this case, a, b and P must be connected and the relay jumper must be removed.
Relay 2 (10-836) max. switches 2A/24V DC. The relay can be connected to the Nikobus home
automation system via the inputs (see technical catalogue Niko Access Control).
