- This user manual has to be handed over to the user. It has to be included in the electrical
installation file and has to be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available
on the Niko website or via the support service.
- During installation, the following has to be taken into account (not limited to list below):
- The statutory laws, standards and regulations;
- The state of the art technique at the moment of installation;
- This user manual, which must be read within the scope of each specific installation, only
states general regulations;
- The rules of proper workmanship

In case of a defect, you can return your product to a registered Niko wholesaler, together with
a clear description of your complaint (Conditions of use, stated defect...).
2. Relay 1 (10-835)
2.1. DESCRIPTION
Relay 1 is designed for flush mounting in an external unit (NOT of the Advance series) or a
Focus internal unit. This relay can o.a. be used to control a door lock.
2.2. INSTALLATION

This DC relay is designed for flush mounting in an external unit
of the Confidence, Balance, Evidence or Alliance series or in an
internal unit of the Focus series. If an installation is provided
with several external units and several locks must be controlled,
you can open the resp. doors by connecting one Relay 1 per
external unit.
If you connect a Relay 1 to a Focus internal unit, you can use the
first function key of this internal unit to switch Relay 1. The wires
