USE AND OPERATION
ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under high
loads.
Any additional requirements must be the subject of
an agreement between the manufacturer and the
customer.
! Beware of explosion or fire. When working with
plasters, coatings (especially with older coatings),
varnishes and similar materials, flammable and toxic
gases may be formed.
- The ideal operating temperature must be determined
by a test method. Therefore, we recommend starting
with a lower temperature. The appropriate working
temperature and the distance between the nozzle and
the material being processed varies depending on its
type. It should always be at least 50mm.
This hot air gun is designed for the following tasks:
- removing paints and their residues from wood, metal
and plastics;
- removing self-adhesive labels;
- affixing PVC labels;
- molding materials that soften at low temperatures,
including acrylic plastics and plexiglass;
- thermal bonding of synthetic materials, including
PVC-coated materials and foils;
- work with heat-shrinkable pipes;
- heating of pipe fittings and pipe bending;
- repairs of skis, surfboards and similar sports equip-
ment.
TEMPERATURE SETTING:
The hot air gun has two setting options:
1. Low temperature - for use in places where the
material or its surroundings do not allow too high
temperatures. Setting: 350 0C
2. High temperature - for fast heating of the material,
where it is also possible to work the gun at a greater
distance. Setting: 600 0C
Suggested settings
Paint removal High temperature
Pipe melting High temperature
Plastic bending Low temperature
Plastic shrinkage Low temperature
All applications, except for the removal of window
sills, can be carried out without the use of a nozzle,
but for better results, the use of nozzles is recom-
mended.
