Not only is the Crème Brûlée Torch an essential tool for preparing

the Classic Crème Brûée, but it also has a variety of other great
uses in the home kitchen:
• Brown Baked Alaska and other meringue topped desserts
• Melt and brown cheese on top of Onion Soup Gratinée
• Glaze Fruit Tarts and other pastry desserts
• Heat and melt cheese on top of casseroles and lasagne
• Brown the tops of roasts for added flavour
• Blacken tomatoes, onions and jalapenos then blend together for an authentic salsa
• Blacken outside of bell peppers, remove skin, then slice and use on sandwiches, salads
and pizzas!

Please pay attention to the following tips when using the high quality porcelain bowl con-
tained in the set:
- please do not heat the emty bowls direct with the torch
- place the bowl in any case on a heat-resistant surface
- when you caramelise your Crème Brûlée please pay attention that the flame is not
directed to the Porcelain
- Attention! After caramelising the bowls can be hot; please use proper protection!
