2.
INSTALLATION
• Remove the front cover (1) pressing down on the two lateral points (A) with a screwdriver as indicated in fig. 1.
• Remove the conveyor (3) from the aspiration group (4) only by using the screwdriver as a lever on points (B) as
indicated in fig. 2.
• Cut on the drilling template the diameter equivalent to that on the wall (Ø8, Ø10, Ø12 cm.).
• The equipment is supplied with the centring ring (5) positioned on the diameter of 10 cm. For installation on
a discharge hole of Ø 8 cm remove the centring ring. For installation on a discharge hole of Ø 12 cm turn the
centring ring upside down and position it on the stop pin.
• Present the template to the wall, trace the four fastening points and make the holes Ø 5 mm.
• To avoid any backflow of fumes and/or odours into the environment insert the closure throttle vale (6) supplied.
• Fix the aspiration group (4) to the wall (minimum height 2.3 m) by means of the four screws and relative inserts
supplied.
• Insert the supply cable in the appropriate seat (fig. 3) and make the electric connection to the terminal board.
• Do not use flat (rip-type) wiring.
• If connecting with outside wiring, break off one of the two plastic parts (C) of the front cover in order to pass
the cable (Fig. 1).
• Before pressing the conveyor ( 3) into place (in the connection of the labyrinth cable), pull the wiring so that it
does not come out of its seat.
• If the input power line is under chase, pass the wiring through the hole at the rear of the aspiration unit (4).
• Insert the pressure conveyor (3) on the aspiration group (4).
• To apply the filter (7) to the equipment insert it with the two holes on the pins of the cross member placed on
the aspiration hole and hold it in position with the stop rod supplied.
• Snap the front cover (1) on to the equipment.
• For maintenance or cleaning operations the assembly and disassembly phases are those described above.
WARNING: Remember to always switch off the power supply circuit before carrying out any type of operation.
CLEANING: Do not immerse electric parts in water or other liquids.
AC 100S – AC 100S-PLUS: STANDARD MODELS
• The electrical connection must be carried out in compliance with the layout indicated in Fig. A.
AC 100PC – AC 100PC-PLUS: MODELS WITH TIE ROD SWITCH
• The electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with the layout indicated in Fig. B.
AC 100T – AC 100T-PLUS: FUNCTION MODALITY FOR MODELS WITH TIMER
• They are supplied with minimum calibration of approx. 45 seconds.
• They function regularly including in the absence of a light bulb or with the light bulb fused.
• The TIMER switches on the aspirator when the light comes on. When the light is turned off the aspirator
continues to function for a period of time that can be programmed from approx. 45 seconds to 30 minutes.
If you wish to increase the function time carry out the following procedures:
• Switch off the supply circuit.
• With gentle movements use a screwdriver on the trimmer (T), situated on the aspirator, in the direction
indicated by the arrow (Fig. 2).
• Check that the function time is the one you want. If it is not repeat the operation.
• The electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with the layout indicated in Fig. C.
AC100HTT, AC100HTT-PLUS: "HYGROSTAT+TIMER" CONNECTION - Fig. D, Fig. E
• Electrical connection for automatic exhaust fan activation according to the humidity quantity in the room. The switch
(I) shown in the diagram allows the manual activation of the exhaust fan with the TIMER function (see description
under "TIMER" CONNECTION).
• These exhaust fans have been designed for the automatic control of relative humidity in the premises.
• The exhaust fan is activated when the relative humidity (RH), present in the premises exceeds the preset
activation threshold, and it keeps working until the RH drops below a pre-set threshold. When the pre-set
threshold has been reached, the TIMER function enables the exhaust fan to keep working for a programmed
length of time in order to reduce further the humidity present in the premises.
• The desired time setting is carried out using the trimmer (T).
• The trimmer (T) is originally set in the factory for a time period of ca 45 sec., but it can be adjusted up to a max.
time of ca 30 min.
• The trimmer (H) is originally set in the factory for an activation point of ca. 60% relative humidity (RH), but this
percentage can be changed, from a minimum of 40% RH (-) to a max. 80% RH (+).
• To change the settings, proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the power supply circuit.
• Turn the trimmer (T) and/or the trimmer (H) gently by means of a screwdriver in the direction shown by the
arrow (Fig. 1)
• Verify if the operational time or RH value have been correctly set, if not repeat the procedure carefully.
