4.7.2. Setting a password for deactivating the external blocking
Previously (see settings internal lines) it was explained that you can block certain apparatuses for making external calls. By means of a password, you
can nevertheless make an external call with a blocked apparatus. The password is set via an abbreviated number and is the same for all apparatuses that
are blocked. For the password, you can select an abbreviated number from ✱500 to ✱999. The abbreviated number cannot be identical to an external
telephone number.
In the example above, code ✱600 was selected as password. No external number was set under 'Number'. By inserting this password on a blocked ap-
paratus, you get access to the external line that was selected under 'External line'. You can then dial the external number. The checks next to day, night
and daytime overflow function are ignored.
