Connecting the device

1 Connect the device to a mains connection with protective earthing.
2 Only connect the device via a current limiting device of the building
installation with the possibility of voltage disconnection.
3 Switch off the mains voltage before removing the intermediate cover.
4 Use shielded cables for all low voltage connections.
5 Place the cable shields on one side of the central earth terminal
in the housing.
6 Only connect electric strikes that are designed for 12 V DC voltage, whose
current consumption does not exceed 250 mA and are equipped with
a recovery diode.
7 Connect the monitoring contact of the electric strike or another contact
connected to this input as a normally closed or normally open contact.
The input is edge controlled. The control system reacts to both
switching edges.
8 If consumers other than electric strikes are connected, provide suitable
interference protection measures (e.g. recovery diode for inductive
consumers).
9 Note also the freewheeling state output voltage, if applicable.
10 To insert the cable into the housing, cut the rubber grommets crosswise
and push the cable through bluntly.
