General Description

The UV Ink Pump Tube is designed specifically for pumping
ultraviolet curing inks from a drum or bulk tank to a printing
press fountain. This pump tube is designed to be used with
Models 84803 and 84804 PowerMaster
It is a single-acting style pump tube with inlet and outlet ball
checks. Ink is dispensed only on the "down" stroke of the
cycle. The pump should never be stalled against pressure
while pumping UV ink and it is recommended that no shut-
off valves be installed between the pump and the press to
eliminate the possibility of the valve being closed while the
pump is in operation. Stalling of the pump with UV ink can
lead to gland seal leakage and damage.

Appropriate Use

• This pump is exclusively designed to deliver UV inks
under low pressure to fountains on printing presses.
• While pumping UV ink the pump should never be stalled
against pressure.
• Use only with PowerMaster
only).
• The maximum ratings given should not be exceeded.
• Any other use not in accordance with the instructions will
result in loss of claims for warranty and liability.
