Putting vegetables and fruit
Open the lid and put vegetables in the container for washing (big vegetables should be
cut up beforehand). Then you can add some substance for washing foodstuffs. Close
the lid. The lid should always be closed before connecting the device to the power
socket.
Hints concerning the capacity and weight of the ingredients to be
washed
The container for washing has got a capacity of 8 liters, which is equivalent to
the amount of approx. 0,5 kg of leaf vegetables, such as e.g. spinach, or 1,5 kg
of brassica vegetables.
Closing the lid
Before turning on the device, always close the lid (except for the „Air cleanser" function)
so as to avoid irritation with the smell of the escaping ozone.
With the „Air cleanser" function the device stops working immediately after closing the
lid. With any other function the device stops working after opening the lid.
