6 Align the pipes to connect them easily. Tighten the
flare nuts first with your hands, and then with a
torque wrench, applying the following torque:

• Excessive torque can be cause of gas leakage.

Selecting the Insulation of the
Refrigerant Pipe
• According to pipes size ,Insulate pipes on gas and
liquid side by selecting appropriate insulations.
• The thickness standard is determined by the indoor
temperature of 27°C and humidity of 80%. If the units
are in extreme conditions, use thicker one.

• The pipe work can be touching but not crushing the insulation.
• When the pipes are touching, use thicker insulation.

• Keep a 10mm separation of pipes after the EEV.
• In case of small gap between gas and liquid pipe, use
thicker insulation .
CAUTION
• Install the insulation not to be get wider and
use the adhesives on the connection part of it to
prevent moisture entering.
• Wind the refrigerant pipe with insulation tape if
it is exposed to outside sunlight.
• Install the refrigerant pipe respecting that the
insulation does not get thinner on the bent part
or hanger of pipe.
Remarks
If you install the pipe
underground, at the seaside,
a spa or on the lake, use thicker
one according to the pipe size.
