Service Program for Moisture Removal in the Vacuum Pump

To remove moisture from the pump, a service program can be used. In approx. 30 min.
it will warm up the pump and remove the condensed water from the oil. The following
procedure should be followed:

Open the lid.

Select the service program for moisture removal from the vacuum pump:
Select the vacuum level VAC P.

Close the lid and the service program will proceed (approx. 30 min.).

To interrupt or stop the service program, press the VAC key.

Solution/remedy

Clean the area under the
sealing bar (brass contact
surface).

Change the Teflon band

Change the silicon rubber

Change Teflon band

Change silicon rubber

Grease piston rod

Replace sealing wire

Use another bag

Use thicker bag

Use smaller bag

Check pump oil level

Change oil

Replace cover gasket

Turn off the machine

Unplug the machine from the
power connection

Replace the exhaust filter
