4 Transport and Storage
Transport inside the facilities:
Notice!
If the machine is inclined by more than 10° the oil can reach the
exhaust filter, smoke and pump damage can happen.

In this case, change immediately the exhaust filter
(see chapter 8: Maintenance and Service)

Do not tip the machine with oil when transport.

Protect sealing bars and inserts against sliding in the chamber.

Be sure to remove the protection material from the chamber after having
transported the machine.

Do not bend or crush the power supply cable outside of the casing.
Storage:
The same conditions applied to the machine operation facilities are to be used for the
machine storage.

Water and steam should not get in contact with the machine.

For long storage periods the vacuum pump has to receive a special storage
treatment.
