Do not unscrew the radiator cap before the engine temperature has dropped
together with the cooling system pressure.
Do not touch high voltage cables when the engine is on.
Handle portable lamps with care and use only the ones that are provided with
metallic protection.
Wear accident-prevention spectacles in order to protect one's eyes against petrol,
dust or metals.
It must be remembered that the catalytic muffler reaches extremely high
temperatures that can cause very serious burns or fires.
Check that there are no lubricating oil stains, wipers, paper or other easily
inflammable materials near the muffles.

When operating on batteries remember:

Car batteries contain sulphuric acid and produce explosive gases; follow the instructions
below:
Always wear protection spectacles.
Do not lean tools on the battery since they might cause accidental contacts.
Before carrying out the test or the recharge, cover with a wet cloth the battery
openings so as to choke explosive gases.
Avoid sparks when cables are connected to the battery.
Avoid electrolyte sprinkles on your skin, eyes and clothes since they are corrosive
and highly toxic.
