ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Assemble unit as shown in diagrams. Read and under-
stand all warnings and directions in component manuals
included.
1. Assemble drum cover to pump.
a. Remove cover nut from top of pump. Lift air motor
cover from pump.
b. Remove the four screws holding the cover-bottom to
the pump outlet body.
c. Hold pump with pump outlet body resting securely on
the inner surface of the cover-bottom. Insert end of
pump tube through hole in drum cover. Une up holes
in drum cover, cover-bottom and pump outiet body.
Replace the four screws and tighten securely.
2. Push insert through follower with small cone of wiper
body facing up. Place insert retainer over insert and align
the holes on the insert and insert retainer. Secure
assembly with four self-tapping screws.

DESCRIPTION
Models 82050, 82716 and 83513 are air operated grease
pumps designed to pump low and medium viscosity
materials (grease) from drums and pails.

tions before operating this equipment.
INSTALLATION
Typical drum and pail hookups are described as follows only
as a guide in selecting and installing a system.
This pump can develop 7500 PSI working pressure at
150 PSI maximum incoming air pressure. Be sure that
all system equipment and accessories are rated to
withstand the maximum working pressure of this pump.
Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of the
lowest rated component in the system.
IMPORTANT: Accessory item 'Whip" hoses for dispens-
ing valve are rated 4500 PSI. DO NOT exceed 90 PSI air
pressure to pump when using 'Whip" hoses.

3. Remove drum top and insert follower into drum against
the surface of the lubricant.
4. Insert pump into lubricant drum.
a. Guide end of pump tube into the follower insert.
b. Lower pump tube into lubricant drum until drum cover
5. Assemble the lubricant hose to the pump outlet body.
Connections must be leakproof.
6. Replace airmotor cover.
a. Place cover over airmotor and position over cover-

c. Assemble nipple and adapter through hole in side
7. Connect air coupler to an air hose of sufficient length so
the lubrigun can be used to cover the entire
lubrication area.

Typical System Hookup
Determine the drum or pail system for your requirement.
Obtain an air line fitter/regulator/lubricator to use with the
inlet air supply.
Clean the supply lines, hoses, reducers, connectors and
accessories of matter that could damage the pump or
system components.
The pump was tested in lightweight oil. Flush the pump
to prevent possible contamination.
