Monopolar Electrode Handle
Connecting the Monopolar Electrode Handle
Connect the cable to the HF surgical unit.
Insert the selected active electrode into the electrode socket of the handle, making sure that
the plastic hexagonal end of the electrode shaft disappears fully in the handle socket.
Activate the finger switches (pushbuttons) of the handle one after the other to verify proper
system activation.
The device is now ready for operation.
Functional Check
Prior to each reuse, the handle must be subjected to a complete function test and a visual in-
spection for damage and wear. The handle sleeve must be free from any signs of damage
(< 0.2 mm) and the pushbuttons must be in perfect working order.
Note that any modification, incorrect handling or improper use of the HF electrode handles, as
well as non-observance of these instructions for use, shall invalidate any warranty claims.
