11. End of operation
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long period of time, it is necessary to
perform the following tasks:
− Switch off the appliance and then remove the plug from the socket.
− Empty the appliance.
− Wipe out the cooling area and allow it to dry.
− Carefully wash all appliance fittings (storage shelves for the bottles).
− Leave the door open to avoid unpleasant odours and mould formation.
12. Disposal
Appliance
Old appliances should not be disposed of with the normal household
rubbish.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be proper-
ly disposed of at the end of its service life.
This involves separating the materials in the appliance for the purpose of recycling
and avoiding any impact on the environment.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recycling centre.
Contact your local waste disposal company or your local authority for more infor-
mation on this subject.
Before disposal cut off the cable.
Remove the door before disposing of the appliance and leave the storage
shelves for the bottles in the appliance.
Packaging
Your appliance has been packaged to protect it against transportation
damage. Packaging materials are raw materials and can therefore be re-
used or recycled.
