Colour variation
Along with colour variations resulting from production and finishing techniques
(due to different stroke directions), the cover materials display the kind of colour
variations that are typical for products of this kind. It is therefore also possible
that their colours may differ slightly from those of display samples or previously
delivered parts.

Finishing features
According to the look of the upholstery, upholstered products are given either a
tight-fitting or a looser finish. A looser finish means increased comfort since the
user can sink gently into the upholstery. The desired look is created during use
as a result of individual fold and ripple formation due to the somewhat looser
covering, e.g. on mattresses covered in furnishing fabrics. After use, the surfaces
can be smoothed again by working the material towards the outside, or by
shaking.
Many soft materials are used in the upholstered area. Upholstery and sewing
are manual crafts, therefore deviations from the specified dimensions are possi-
ble. The length and width of a mattresses may vary by ± 1%. Dimensional devi-
ations may also be caused during storage and transport. Generally, the product
will recover during use and regain its nominal dimensions.

Odours when new, changes during use
New products always emit a material-specific odour. This is completely harmless
and will disappear over time. Frequent ventilation will accelerate this process.
Every upholstered bed and every mattress will adjust to the occupant over time.
The high-quality, fine layers of padding become compressed, creating an inden-
tation in the surface of the mattress. Regular turning of the mattress, head to foot
or right over, will allow the padding to recover.
